The Maintenance Manager is a member of the location leadership team. Overseeing the Plant operations from a maintenance perspective. Responsible for management of all plant equipment, facilities and grounds. Assists and develops direct reports to achieve desired results. Direct responsibility for all department employees to ensure proper orientations, training, development, compensation and working conditions are present.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise Maintenance personnel.

Purchase maintenance materials and supplies.

Manage departmental budget.

Responsible for planning work time to meet all needs of the plant.

Ability to work in adverse conditions safely and ensure safety of personnel.

Actively participate on Safety Committee.

Work with Engineering to modify existing equipment for new uses.

Fabricate new equipment; install new equipment.

Assist Plant Manager with selection of equipment and plant layout.

Design and implement the preventive maintenance system.

Provide technical assistance to production department and work with production personnel to maintain and improve quality.

Create and execute Milgard Performance System objectives,

Meet Milgard Performance System commitments and work within the guidelines of Milgard Performance System;

Reflect Milgard business values and the Milgard philosophy in all business interactions.

Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience. Oversight of a team of 8 Maintenance Technicians. In addition, this ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in engineering or relation field preferred. Demonstrate able experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials.
